Welcome to The Albany Pub & Dining Rooms. We opened our doors in November 2006 following a major transformation from what was “ The Rat’s Castle” into Guildford’s only independent Gastropub.

 

We pride ourselves on providing great locally sourced food, along with a great atmosphere and a community spirit. With a wide range of drinks from “Cask Marque” accredited real ales to classic cocktails and a popular wine list to suit any palette. 

 

The Albany has area's that include a restaurant area, sofa's and high top tables which can be reserved for you at no cost for any event you can think of, Birthday, Christening or just meeting friends we are happy to help. 

As well as plenty of seating at the front of the pub, we also have a secluded garden surrounded by lush greenery and a real suntrap ideal for al-fresco lunches, dinners or drinks. 

There is more, we have four rooms to let, all finished to a high modern standard with ensuite bathrooms, ideal for a break, local wedding or visiting friends. 

Come down and try us out for food, drinks or both and talk to us to see if we can make your precious relaxing time the best it can be.

Another fabulous bank holiday coming up 27 May!

How can you not come and join us at the annual Brook Fest at The Dog & Pheasant on the Haslemere Road in Brook from 12pm. We have Flat Pack Pandas playing, as well as Markus and Jay from Spotlight Cannibal. Find the Albany girls on the outside bar and get signed up to the free VIP members club on the day and you get the chance to win a £50 bar tab to help your day along :-)
